Our terms and conditions for renting out the bikes


  1. All cyclers are required to meet our minimum age of 16 to rent a cycle.

  2. A government approved ID is to be presented before renting the cycle . A security deposit of Rs.1000 is mandatory.

  3. Bicycles are rented out clean and in proper working conditions and must be returned in the same manner.

  4. It is the responsibility of the rentee to check the bike at the store before setting out on any ride.

  5. The rentee bears any loss or repair costs if it is his/her fault that caused damage on his/her driving the cycle.

  6. All bikes should be returned clean of mud and debris.

  7. Any bike not returned clean will be charged a 1hour additional fee.

  8. Hourly and Daily rentals are should be due after 15 minutes closing time. Late returns are subject to fees of Rs.200 for every 30 min. 

  9. If the rentee has repairs done to the bicycle without the company’s prior permission, the company will not cover the costs of the repairs.

  10.  In case of theft/loss, the rentee will be responsible for paying CYC-it-UP for the original price of the bicycle(s).

  11. If you lose your bicycle or it is stolen during the rental period, please contact the company immediately.

  12. In signing this document, I fully recognize that if injury, illness, death or damage occurs to me/my child/ anyone else while I am engaged in renting this bicycle or participating in bicycling, I will have no right to make a claim or file a lawsuit against CYC-it-UP or its employees.

  13.   Law and jurisdiction 

  • The provisions of this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law.

  • The place of arbitration shall be Mumbai and any award whether interim or final, shall be made, and shall be deemed for all purposes between the parties to be made, in Mumbai.

  • The arbitral procedure shall be conducted in the English language and any award or awardsshall be rendered in English. The procedural law of the arbitration shall be         Indian law. 

  • The rights and obligations of the Parties under, or pursuant to, this Clause, including the arbitration agreement in this Clause, shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at Mumbai.
